Today, through the “Partners In Progress” Initiative, the Town of Hempstead Industrial Development Agency (IDA) has partnered with the Hempstead Local Development Corporation to expand services so that retail organizations and not-for-profit’s can enjoy great benefits.

Hempstead’s newly revived Local Development Corporation (LDC) can offer incentives to help not-for-profit businesses and agencies —schools, hospitals, and religious organizations — relocate, expand, and build within Town limits.
